A nice change of pace from contemporary novels, this novel started a little slow as many of the classics do, however, it grew steady in suspense and tension and finished strong. A well deserved distinction as a classic. And it’s still selling! Boyer’s rating – Four Stars.

In Spy by Night, I draw upon childhood experiences. Flipper, the TV series about a dolphin, was a favorite, so that’s why Skipper, the super-smart dolphin, was born and written into the story.
